Is the Intel RealSense D455f officially supported?

Hi all,

I’m considering buying a RealSense D455f sensor for a project I’m working on and was wondering if Nuitrack supports it?

I see D455 is listed as supported but not the f version.
I only found a thread from a year ago saying it should work out of the box but it’s not officially supported and was wondering if this has changed or if any additional support has been added?

If not, are there any known limitations or issues when using it?

Has anyone here successfully used the D455f with Nuitrack in a live project?

I’d really appreciate any insights before buying it.

Thanks for your help!

M

Hi @marinamuun,

Basically support status for D455f stays the same,
most of the time you could refer to the up-to-date list of supported sensors.

As of moment we aren’t actively expanding Realsense lineup support, so official / confirmed support shouldn’t be expected in near-term, but

  • we would welcome if community members will leave a confirmation/note on how it work / doesn’t work for them
  • try (best-effort) to remotely assist with minor issues resolution if you have it on hands - this relates only to raw data fetching / consistency, not to the tracking quality
