Release perpetual license

I activated a license today for a Real Sense camera but now that we see the camera is broken and has issues with depth tracking.

Is there any way I can release that license and use for another camera?

Dear jojizaidi,

It depends on what type of license you are using:

  • If we are talking about a perpetual license, then unfortunately it cannot be transferred as it is linked to the serial number of the sensor. In order to activate a new sensor, a new license is required (even if the sensor is broken or lost).
  • If you use an online license, then you just have to go through the activation procedure again using the new sensor. This type of license is portable.
